authors of the exhibition

The exhibition consists of 34 original photographs, taken by four photographers in various places in Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia. The photographers did not know each other, yet managed to create a universal story with their photographs and unite the painful memories of an ordinary person and their suffering.

Blagoja Borislav Pešić

Where he comes from and where he goes…

Born in April 1973 on the Belgrade asphalt, which even today he is still persistently tramping on.

He started as a graphic artist, grew up as a designer and matured as a photographer. At some point, he combined all these three foundations into one that he works on today. Whatever it is called. He tends to call it “love”… because you don’t choose it, it chooses you. Later, he expanded his knowledge in a private school of photography and closely worked on himself. And he doesn’t intend to stop.

He has made ten solo photo exhibitions, only in Belgrade for now, but also planning its expansion beyond the borders. However, he has crossed the border in 2021 and made the eleventh solo exhibition in Pula (Croatia) … looking for new borders.

Borislav created countless designs, big and small. He cooperated with large companies, but he always preferred small ones. He has long been aware that less is more, so he tends to always behave that way. Or at least he keeps trying. He travels and looks forward to new people who walk into his life. He likes big trips to small towns. He tries to be open towards the diversity because he thinks that is the beauty of all of us who are together in this short moment on the planet.

He likes people, he likes to drink beer, and he likes smiles. He has friends. Now, he also has a book (photography monographs “Long Play Book”), and is working on the next one … he loves life. (www.blagoja.com)
